Frequently asked questions
If your question is not here, email hello@infinique.org.
What does Infinique do?
Infinique rewrites your TikTok captions with AI and publishes photo slideshows to your TikTok account through TikTok's official Content Posting API. You review and confirm every post before it goes out.
Do you need my TikTok password?
No. You connect your account through TikTok's official OAuth 2.0 flow, which happens on TikTok's own site. We receive an access token that lets us post on your behalf when you ask us to. We never see or store your TikTok password.
Can I disconnect my TikTok account?
Yes. Use the disconnect button in your dashboard, which revokes our access with TikTok directly. You can also revoke it from the TikTok app under Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions.
Will Infinique post anything without me approving it?
No. Every post passes through a preview screen showing the account, images, caption, privacy level, and any commercial disclosure label. Nothing is transmitted to TikTok until you press Confirm & Post.
Who can see the posts I publish?
Whoever you choose. The privacy options come from your own TikTok account settings, and no option is preselected — you pick one every time. If you mark a post as branded content, TikTok does not allow it to be private.
What image formats can I upload?
JPEG and WebP directly. PNG files are converted to JPEG in your browser before upload, because TikTok does not accept PNG for photo posts. You can include up to 35 images in one slideshow.
What is Send as Draft?
Instead of publishing immediately, the slideshow is sent to the creator's TikTok inbox as a draft. They open the TikTok app, make any changes they want, and publish it themselves. Useful when the account owner wants final approval.
Can I manage more than one TikTok account?
Yes. Connect as many as you need and switch between them in the dashboard. Each account authorizes separately, and creator settings are read live from each one.
Which AI generates the captions?
Google's Gemini API. Only the caption text you submit for rewriting is sent to it. No personal data, TikTok tokens, or images are shared.
Where is my data stored?
In encrypted databases hosted by Supabase. Access tokens are encrypted at rest and all traffic uses TLS. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my data?
Email hello@infinique.org and we will delete your account, tokens, and post records within 30 days. Content already published to TikTok stays on TikTok and is managed there.
Does a post ever fail?
Occasionally TikTok rejects a post — a daily posting limit, an unsupported image size, or a temporary problem on their side. When that happens we show you TikTok's actual reason so you can fix it and try again.
